2.3 User Control

You maintain total control over your data. Everything remains on your device and under your exclusive control.

3. Data Collection and Use

3.1 Data We DO NOT Collect

Capture Sync DOES NOT collect, store, or transmit:

  • Photographs, videos, or any multimedia content
  • File metadata
  • Location information
  • Device identifiers

3.2 Local Processing

All application operations occur exclusively on your device:

  • Server configuration management
  • All other application features

3.3 Network Communications

The only network communications performed by the application are:

  • Direct connections to endpoints (servers) you configure (e.g., your personal NAS, Raspberry Pi, Laptop, external HDD, etc.)

These connections are established directly between your device and the servers you specify, without intermediaries.

4. Diagnostics and Error Reporting

4.1 iOS System Diagnostics

If you enable "Share iPhone Analytics" in iOS settings:

  • Apple may collect anonymous diagnostic data about application crashes
  • This data may be shared with the developer via App Store Connect
  • Important: These reports DO NOT contain personal data, server configurations, or content

4.2 How to Disable

You can disable this sharing in: Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements > Share iPhone Analytics

5. Data Security

5.1 Security Measures

Although we do not collect data, we implement robust security measures in this App:

  • Encryption of all communications with your configured endpoints (servers) when using a SFTP configuration.
  • Secure storage of credentials using iOS Keychain
  • Compliance with Apple's best security practices
  • Regular code reviews to identify vulnerabilities

5.2 Your Responsibility

As all data remains under your control:

  • You are responsible for the security of the endpoints (servers) you configure
  • We recommend using strong passwords or asymmetric encryption key pairs and encrypted transports (e.g. SFTP, encrypted VPN)
  • Keep your iOS device updated with the latest security patches

6. Third-Party Services

6.1 Apple App Store

The application is distributed through the Apple App Store, which has its own Privacy Policy.
